KareQ8 began as a personal initiative by a group of volunteers who devoted their lives to helping and rescuing animals in danger. We started small — a handful of animal lovers responding to distress calls — and grew into Kuwait’s most trusted voice for special-needs rescues.
Unlike traditional shelters, we focus on the animals most overlooked: senior pets, three-legged dogs, blind cats, paralysed animals, and those with terminal illnesses. We believe every life is worth fighting for, regardless of how complex the case.
Our goal extends beyond rescue — we spread awareness about responsible animal ownership in Kuwait, and advocate for the injured and abandoned animals found on the city’s streets every day.

Special Needs First
Three-legged, blind, paralysed, and terminally ill animals are our priority. They are equally loving, equally deserving — just overlooked.
International Adoptions
We actively find international homes for animals who are difficult to place locally in Kuwait. Our rescues have travelled to Europe, the US, and Canada.
Full Medical Support
Every rescue receives complete vet care — vaccinations, surgery, rehabilitation. We fund everything through our merchandise line, not donations.
The People Behind KARE
We are not a big organisation with offices and budgets. We are five devoted workers who show up every day — for the rescues, the vet runs, the late-night emergencies, and the hopeful adoptions.

Keep Going
KARE does not accept cash donations. Instead, we run a merchandise line — every item sold goes directly to the rescues: hospital bills, food, shelter, and travel costs for international adoptions.
